What's new in v2.2.1

Improvements

  • Edit reason — protection entries now have an inline edit button to update the reason without removing and re-adding the protection
  • Folder icons — admin list now uses Nextcloud-native folder icons (44px) with visual badges: for group folders, for all protected folders
  • Confirmation dialog — removing a protection now shows a styled dialog instead of the browser's native confirm popup
  • UI polish — Settings section label, internal ID shown as monospace chip, reason displayed with label, translated strings completed for en/pt-PT

Fixed

  • Notifier registration corrected to prevent startup warnings
  • Lock path resolution fixed for edge cases in LockPlugin
  • COPY operation now correctly blocks descendants of protected folders
  • Removed dead code paths in protection check flow

Upgrade notes

This release includes a database migration (Version002001000) that adds the path_hash column and fixes the unique index for MySQL/MariaDB installs. The migration runs automatically on upgrade.
