Cli Griderator 4.3.0 for Windows
Cli Griderator for Windows is now available: a standalone terminal grid for Windows 10 1903+ and Windows 11 on x64 PCs.
- Installer: download
Cligriderator-4.3.0-windows-x64-Setup.exe, run it, and open Cli Griderator from the Start menu. Installs per user without administrator access. - Portable: extract the entire
Cligriderator-4.3.0-windows-x64.zip, then openCli Griderator.exe. Keep all accompanying files. - The app runtime is included. No WSL, Python, Node.js, or package manager is required. PowerShell and Command Prompt come with Windows; coding agents and other tools require separate installation.
- Six panes open initially; use up to twenty per workspace, named workspaces, grid layouts, zoom, themes, search, copy/paste, a command palette, and confirmed broadcast commands.
- Closing the window keeps terminals running in the system tray. Double-click the tray icon to return. Exit and stop terminals ends running processes. Layouts and settings are saved, but processes and scrollback do not survive app exit or reboot.
The initial installer is unsigned, so Windows may display an unknown-publisher warning. Windows on ARM is not a verified target.
Linux/macOS command-line controls, tmux reconnection after application exit, stacked tabs, custom shortcut editing, quiet-hour rules, and automatic font fitting are not included in this Windows edition. Existing Linux/macOS settings are not imported. Windows settings live in %APPDATA%/Cli Griderator/settings.json and are retained when uninstalling.
This release fixes concurrent terminal shutdown and pins node-pty 1.2.0-beta.14 for Microsoft's upstream Windows handle-race fix (#922). SHA256SUMS.txt verifies the downloads.
