@kurbaitaev kurbaitaev released this 30 Oct 08:45

Thirteen new styles you can ask for by name, each a recipe in recipes/ (guide, house look and builder). With Seoul list and stan style, which shipped quietly on Oct 14, that makes 19 named styles.

New styles

  • Face RESULT: "edit this in Face RESULT". RESULT around your face: paper props, polaroids and quote cards beside you, never on you.
  • Whiteboard: a split screen. A marker board above draws each thought live, you below.
  • Kinetic doc: a black-and-white archive documentary with one red accent. Words pop on as you say them, pictures arrive as prints.
  • Step Deck: a tips reel as a numbered deck. Giant italic numerals, word cards and prints cut between your face.
  • Product page: a tool review laid out like a product page, with real pictures, rebuilt UI and hairline drawings.
  • Tactile paper: your talk on printed paper that moves like stop-motion, with real page folds.

Ported from lemo-opuscar (MIT)

  • Caption News: big chunked captions, the keyword on a yellow block, source tags.
  • News Package: you as the anchor of a TV news segment.
  • Telestrator: freeze the frame and draw on it like a sports replay.
  • Halftone Dossier: a retro printed case file.
  • Swiss Grid: a strict grid poster with one red.
  • Data Story: pencil charts of real, sourced numbers.
  • Hologram HUD: a wireframe scan with target boxes.

Styles captured from other creators' reels credit them in their READMEs. Face RESULT, Whiteboard and Kinetic doc come with English worked examples; the others start from the usage notes in their builders.

Also new since v0.2.0

  • Seoul list (a voice-over list over fast B-roll) and stan style (a seated tool tutorial with your screen behind your head).
  • finals.py: a light preview first; the full-quality master won't render without a current preview. HyperFrames is pinned in scripts/HF_VERSION, so renders repeat.
  • Cut tools: takes.py, subcheck.py, qa_cut.py, rawcut_prep.sh: best take per line, a subtitle check, cut QA.
  • Pictures: image_sources.py, wikimedia_fetch.py, google_images.py and image_pick.py find and score a picture for each line; brand_kit.py pulls a tool's logo, accent colour and font from its website.
  • Sound: a pack of 27 CC0 sounds ships in library/sfx (python3 scripts/cc0_pack.py list).
  • B-roll that fits: insert_prep.py, broll_vision.py, broll_qa.py, and your own people rules in people-rules.json (empty by default).
  • The README plays every style in one grid.

Update: cd ~/.claude/skills/ghost-editor && git pull, then run bash scripts/doctor.sh.
