Project Plannr 1.1.0: Public workspace refresh

Choose a tag to compare

@kylbutlr kylbutlr released this 23 Oct 06:51

Project Plannr 1.1.0 refreshes the public planning workspace with clearer hierarchy, more consistent spacing, and shared App Stylr input and dropdown styling.

  • Customize workspace/display names, dark or light appearance, comfortable or compact spacing, and the default board view.
  • Use fictional demo projects without loading private project records.
  • Follow the rewritten README for local setup, optional passwords, agent access, backups, updates, and support.
  • Keep existing project scopes, claims, revisions, checklists, and hosted authentication intact.

Download the archive and SHA256SUMS. Use Node.js 22.13 or newer, extract to a fresh directory, and follow the README. This is a single-owner self-hosted app with manual updates.

Verification: 105 automated tests, the disposable HTTP rehearsal, the 14-asset build, packaging, and archive README link/image checks passed. Fresh rendered desktop/mobile acceptance remains pending because browser authority was unavailable. No real workspace data was used for verification.

Project Plannr 1.0.0

Self-hosted project planning for people and project-scoped agents.

Download and run

Download project-plannr-1.0.0.tar.gz, verify it against SHA256SUMS, and extract it into a fresh directory. With Node.js 22.13 or newer:

npm ci --omit=dev
npm run start:local

Open http://127.0.0.1:4205/. Stop with Ctrl+C. This explicitly chooses passwordless loopback access and an initially empty persistent workspace. Local passwords are optional; remote/hosted access still requires authentication. Preserve data/ when updating.

Includes project swimlanes, Kanban, ranked queues, ticket checklists, work claims, activity, optimistic concurrency, and revocable project-scoped agent credentials. No hosted account or managed database is required for local use. See the included README and self-hosting guide.

Verification and limits

The actual extracted download passed all 103 tests and its build with a clean dependency install. Checks covered password and passwordless access, CSRF/origin enforcement, file persistence, stale writes, claims, and passwordless onboarding with separately scoped agent access. File manifest and SHA-256 are attached. Source review findings were fixed and re-reviewed.

Fresh browser visual acceptance remains pending because Browser Use rejected authority over a stale error page. No existing hosted workspace, real project ledger, or credentials were changed during validation. This is a single-owner installation, not a multi-tenant hosted service. Updates are manual.
