Mosoo v0.5.1 Alpha adds provider-aware model protocols across Pi and the other harness runtimes.

  • Pi can use catalog models and custom OpenAI Chat Completions, OpenAI Responses, Anthropic Messages, and Google Gemini endpoints.
  • OpenCode selects the matching provider adapter. Codex remains Responses-only; Claude SDK retains its Anthropic model allowlist.
  • The console and CLI expose an explicit protocol for custom credentials. Incompatible provider/model/runtime combinations are rejected before a run; new Sessions freeze their protocol for continuation.
  • Existing credentials with no selected protocol retain their legacy behavior. Migration 0018 adds only a nullable column. The Driver and runtime images are unchanged.
  • Documentation is updated in three languages; CLI v0.6.0 carries the matching generated contract and --input-model-protocol option.

Validation: the complete Linux repository gate passed on the source tree deployed to staging. One OpenRouter key passed real tools and file round trips for Pi/OpenCode on Chat, Responses, and Messages, Codex Responses, and Claude SDK Messages. Pi recovered its native context and original files after both Driver restart and full cold-container recreation. Google-native remains deterministic local protocol/tool coverage, not a hosted native-provider certification. Initial model-marker refusal and staging-capacity failures remain recorded; ordinary task context and subsequent bounded retries passed.

Production API and Web are deployed from 48ea069f37956a723380636407a4ad6b15291aaa. Both are serving 100% traffic; health, schema, redirects, and all five unchanged runtime image digests passed verification. No production model credentials were changed or model calls made for this release.

Rollout is nullable D1 column → API → Web/CLI → docs. Preserve the column on rollback; Sessions using an explicit new protocol must not return to the old Chat-only Pi implementation.

Version correction: this Host release is numbered v0.5.1 as a patch release after v0.5.0. The previously published v0.6.0 Git tag remains unchanged at the same source commit for traceability. CLI v0.6.0 remains the matching CLI release. No source code or production deployment changed as part of this numbering correction.
