OpenCue 0.5.2
New
A plan is a checklist. /plan opens a card with the task as its title and the steps as a checklist that ticks itself as the agents finish them. "Handed off to…" lines are gone from the card and live under Open run. When parallel agents ask for permission at the same time, each gets its own Approve / Deny row.
Computers, reorganised. Settings → Computers now has tabs: Sandbox, Perplexity SPACE, VMPal and Host & webhooks. The SPACE tab always shows the automatic install. Where it can't run (it needs Linux x86_64 with KVM) it says so and explains how to connect a SPACE running elsewhere.
Ideas from OpenBot in the coding-team harness: the status note goes in the same message as the next action, agents say what they didn't verify and where they looked, and they stop only when blocked or before something destructive.
Fixed
Coding groups work in the group's folder. No more hidden per-agent copies under .opencue/worktrees. A new project goes at the top level of the folder and its files show up in the Files list. Separate copies are now an opt-in switch in the panel.
Permissions of parallel agents show in the group, even when the request comes from the agent's own chat.
/plan in a coding group: replies keep their order, each with its own header, and the card holds only the checklist.
A finished plan stays finished: once every step is done the plan is cleared, so the next message no longer brings the planning card back.
