A terminal UI application for viewing large JSON log files (multi-GB).

Features

• Memory-mapped file access - Handles files larger than available RAM efficiently
• Fast indexing - O(1) line access with 8 bytes per line overhead
• Vim-style navigation - Full support for j/k, gg/G, H/M/L, Ctrl+u/d, etc.
• Two-pane interface - Scrollable table view + pretty-printed JSON detail
• Pane resizing - Ctrl+w then >/< to adjust split
• Detail scrolling - h/l keys to scroll long JSON entries
• Syntax highlighting - Level-based colors (DEBUG, INFO, WARN, ERROR, FATAL)
• Pretty printing - 2-space indented JSON formatting

Usage

# View a file
jsonlogviewer /path/to/app.log

# Pipe from stdin
cat app.log | jsonlogviewer
journalctl -o json | jsonlogviewer
