• Coordinate exclusion settings saves and Apply across single-folder configuration aliases, delayed readback and missing notifications. Quick exclusions, Save and Apply, Save Request Only and Restore retain their existing confirmation and safety guards.
• Avoid invalidating scope preparation for delayed notifications from an already verified settings-file write. Preserve competing edits, drafts, pending reviews, Unknown before-images and Undo; report saved requests that were not applied and incomplete verification without automatic late Apply or unsafe compensation.
• Expose guarded Recheck from coverage rows and replace obsolete unnamed-event advice that prescribed a baseline rebuild. Retain durable unverified evidence and original baselines when recovery cannot complete.
• Complete necessary directory observation after finite bursts of parent directory notifications without requiring an extra filesystem event. Preserve the original work budgets and continued observation of later file changes.
