Fixes issue with stdout/stderr not being properly flushed on exit. This became more apparent with the Node.js v6.0.0 release.

Fixes issue with stdout/stderr not being properly flushed on exit. This
became more apparent with the Node.js v6.0.0 release. Calling process.exit() should
only be done for extreme cases.
