New

• User guide: There's a new "Open User Guide" button in Settings > About & Updates. It takes you to a step-by-step guide with pictures of every feature, handy if you're new or want to discover something you've missed.

Fixed

• Album art on your phone: Fixed the song picture sometimes going missing in the phone remote, usually every few songs. It now shows up reliably, even with players and browsers that add the picture a moment after the song starts.
• No more broken pictures: If the phone can't load the album art straight away, it quietly tries again instead of showing a broken image.
• Music player view: The same fix applies to the music player on your PC, so the album art there is more reliable too.

Improved

• Lighter on memory: Very large album covers (some music files include huge ones) now use a fraction of the memory they used to.
• Less disk activity: SoundBar no longer saves a temporary copy of the album art every time the song changes.
• General tidying: A few small behind-the-scenes fixes so SoundBar cleans up after itself properly when opening links, files and folders.

Updating

• If SoundBar is already installed you can refresh the app and download within.
• For fresh install download the zip file attached below and extract it, then run SoundBar.exe
