Error will not happen when work-file is loaded in compatibility mode.
But loading it after saving it with v8.7.1(Snap version)) will. (as compatibility mode related data in ws file is upgraded when saving it with v8.7.1(Snap) version)

PS: If this is something specific to the Nip2-Snap version, I see no reason not to close it. Considering the somewhat experimental nature of the Nip2-Snap version.
