v2.0.1
v2.0.0
The theme is now an Unraid plugin.
Install: Plugins > Install Plugin, paste
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/liekos47/unraid-cyberpunk-theme/main/cyberpunk-theme.plg
Settings > User Utilities > Cyberpunk Theme: pick a palette from a list grouped by Cyberpunk 2077, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Neon and Mass Effect. The page previews it straight away; Apply keeps it on every page, Reset to default brings back the stock Unraid look. No reboot, no Unraid file modified, and removing the plugin leaves nothing behind.
New palette: n7, N7 red with white and steel accents after the Mass Effect N7 armour (the game's own red, and the white and steels of the N7 Elite medal, sampled from Mass Effect 1). Nine palettes in all.
Fonts are bundled with their OFL licences, so nothing is downloaded at boot. The manual install still works as a fallback (see README) and steps aside when the plugin is installed. If you used the manual install, run bash /boot/config/cyberpunk-theme/uninstall.sh before installing the plugin.
v1.2.1
normandy now uses colours sampled from the original Mass Effect interface instead of colours picked by eye: title blue #3199C6, HUD teal #8CDBDC, pale cyan text, renegade orange #FF9142 for highlights, paragon green #50E280 for status, on the deep indigo of the main menu. Contrast checked (4.5:1 or better) on Dashboard, Main and Plugins. Only hex values are used; no game asset is included.
To update, repeat steps 1 and 3 of Install with the v1.2.1 archive.
v1.2.0
Three new palettes:
midnight: cyan and electric blue on midnight blue, ice-white highlights.neon-night: neon pink and neon cyan in equal measure on a blue-black night, electric violet highlights.normandy: omni-tool orange and holographic blue on navy-black, N7 red highlights. Inspired by the Mass Effect games; colours picked by eye, no game asset included.
All three pass 4.5:1 text contrast on Dashboard, Main and Plugins. Previews are in the README.
Also new: docs/DEVELOPING.md, the full steps for making, checking, testing and releasing a palette, with the scripts it uses in tools/ (offline contrast check, live in-browser contrast scan, screenshot scrubber).
Install or upgrade with the commands in the README (they now point at v1.2.0), then pick a palette with PALETTE=<name> in theme.cfg.
v1.1.0: edgerunner, lunar, phantom-liberty
Three new palettes and preview screenshots.
New palettes
edgerunner: jacket yellow#FCE300on black, speed-trail green#22F5B0values, red highlights. Inspired by David Martinez in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.lunar: hot pink#FF7AD9on deep violet, cyan#7CF6FFvalues, pastel violet highlights. Inspired by Lucy in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.phantom-liberty: crimson#FF3D55on red-black, silver#C8D8D8values, orange-red highlights. Hues taken from the Phantom Liberty expansion's key art.
Pick one with PALETTE=<name> in /boot/config/cyberpunk-theme/theme.cfg, then re-run install.sh.
Also
- README previews of all five palettes on the Unraid 7.3.3 dashboard.
- The page overlay background now follows each palette's own background colour instead of a fixed navy.
Tested on Unraid 7.3.3: every palette at 4.5:1 or better for text on the dashboard and main tabs, apart from Unraid's stock orange "Update Available" badge.
Upgrading from v1.0.0: copy the new files over /boot/config/cyberpunk-theme/ (keep your theme.cfg and icons/) and run bash /boot/config/cyberpunk-theme/install.sh.
