Update from old version to a new one

Hi guys. How can I update Desktop Frames from an older vesion (2.7.7.294) to the latest (until this date): 2.7.8.376 without losing my already set configs and the icons position and size and positions of the frames?

I'm afraid of just updating the folder and lose it all.

PS: By the way, is there a forecast about doing a kind of "update" button from inside the app. So that it would be easier to just click on it and the app get updated easier and transparently.

Replace your files in program folder (close your program before).
Your settings live instde "Profiles" subfolder and "ProfileOptions.json" file. if you dont replace these you are safe (zip doesnt containt these)
For safery you can backup these before update

Hi @limbo666 , I did it. It worked. But I have a comment to do. Even though the settings have recovered (as the number of frames and icons inside them), the only missing setting was the POSITION and SIZE of them on the desktop. I guess you should also save it on the setting files. So that, next updates, we won't need to move to the right positions and resize them again. Thank you very much!
PS: The bug of clicking on the taskbar corner (show desktop button) has ended. Now when I click on it, it shows the desktop and frames shows again (before update, it was being hidden).

Update doesn't affect frame size and location.

These values are living inside "frames.json" under it onw active profile (default profile is "Default").
If you are experiencing issues with that it should be caused from other reason. Cant' really tell
This version has a "Snapshots" tool implement that help you to keep "backups" and restore frames

Please use this.
