  • Scoped package: renamed to @limccn/deepseek-vl-support (npmjs + GitHub Packages dual publish)
  • Migration: npx @limccn/deepseek-vl-support@latest install --update refreshes all managed references from the frozen 0.2.x deepseek-vl-support
  • CLI, config, cache, and markers unchanged; 0.2.x installs keep working
  • Workflow now idempotent and prerelease-aware (rc dist-tag)

deepseek-vl-support gives text-only models (DeepSeek and friends) vision inside Claude Code, Codex, and 10+ Agent Plugins clients — it describes images through any OpenAI-compatible vision endpoint and injects the result into the conversation as a skill, hook, or MCP tool.

What's inside

  • MCP server — describe_image + vision_status, zero-dependency stdio JSON-RPC, response cache (repeat calls cost 0 API requests)
  • deepseek-vision skill — AgentSkills-conformant, shared across every installed client
  • Install wizard for 22 agents
