• Publishing to crates.io failed with 413 Payload Too Large because a stray wasm-pack archive was packaged; the crate now ships an explicit include list (#223).
• scripts/publish-crate.mjs reported success when cargo publish failed, so 0.21.0 was never published (#223).

Fixed

• 35usd- 200cny- 1hkd failed with "Cannot convert HKD to USD: No exchange rate available" (#224). The latest rate of every data/currency/*.lino file is now bundled at build time, so HKD, AUD, CAD, SEK, KRW and the other ECB currencies convert without a live rate fetch; live rates still take precedence.
• Uppercase SEK is now the Swedish krona instead of German sek (seconds); lowercase sek stays seconds unless a currency conversion target is given.
• The CLI no longer loops forever at end of input, and accepts an expression as command-line arguments (link-calculator "1 HKD in USD").

Fixed

• n! / factorial(n) is computed exactly with big integers (30! used to return 0, 25! was rounded) (#222).
• Function results outside the decimal range (e.g. exp(70)) now report an overflow error instead of silently returning 0.
• Unary minus binds looser than ^: -2^2 is -4 (was 4), matching standard notation; 2^-1 and (-2)^2 are unchanged.

• evaluate_function_values evaluates a function on Value arguments, using exact arithmetic where available.

• Spelled numbers and operator words as a data-driven front end (issue #222):
  data/words/arithmetic-words.lino lists number words, scale words and
  operator phrases for English, Russian, Hindi, Chinese and Spanish, so
  two plus two, шесть умножить на семь, दस बटा दो, 二十三加五 and
  10 dividido por 2 evaluate directly. Compound numbers (one hundred twenty-three, сто двадцать три, 三百二十) are composed exactly.
  Adding a language only needs new lines in the data file.
• ≠, ≤ and ≥ work as comparison operators.

Changed

• The English operator words (plus, times, multiplied by, …) moved
  from the lexer into the same data file. All-uppercase currency codes such as
  ONE or DOS keep their currency meaning.

Added

• CI job Dependency Freshness (scripts/check-dependency-freshness.mjs)
  fails when a direct Rust or web dependency is behind its latest release or
  cargo update has pending lockfile updates, unless the blocker is documented
  with an issue URL (a Cargo.toml comment, or dependencyBlockers in
  package.json) (issue #223).
• The Build job fails when the packaged .crate would exceed the 10 MiB
  crates.io upload limit, which had blocked the v0.20.4..v0.21.0 releases.

• Exact values smaller than the 28-digit decimal range (for example 10^-40 or 2^-100) are shown in scientific notation instead of 0.

• Web app dependencies updated to their latest releases (React 19, Vite 8, Vitest 5, TypeScript 7, i18next 26, KaTeX 0.19, links-notation 0.22, lino-objects-codec 0.8, jsdom 30, …); vite-plugin-top-level-await and @types/katex are no longer needed (#223).
• CI runs on Node.js 24, since several updated web packages require Node.js 22 or newer (#223).
