[BUG] No background image in Expo and Scale

Steps to reproduce:

1. Remove Nautilus and Gnome-Shell
2. Check "File manager handles Desktop" for Nemo
3. Get Expo or Scale - bug seen.

Arch Linux, Nemo 1.7.1, Cinnamon 1.6.7

Same here. It also happens with Nautilus installed. I have Arch Linux, nemo and cinnamon from git repo, as well as muffin.

To fix it I run this:

dconf write /org/gnome/desktop/background/draw-background false
dconf write /org/gnome/desktop/background/draw-background true

Same here but I noticed that this happens for me if i resume from sleep. I think it then has something to do with the restart of the x-server or something. Sometimes i get black background and sometimes it looks like a graphics glitch with stripes of colors over the background of Expo but not on the workspaces itself.

I have this same issue, refreshing the draw-background doesn't work either.

Confirmed on Cinnamon 1.8.8, with an AMD graphics card.
