Changed
- The pointer now shows what a click will do, as it does on macOS. Over a mark you can
move, it becomes the move pointer, whichever drawing tool is selected. Over the handles
of a selected shape, it shows the direction that handle resizes. Before, it stayed a
crosshair everywhere unless the pointer tool was selected, so the only way to find out
whether a click would draw or move something was to click. - Marks are easier to pick up on a high-resolution display. The distance at which a
click still catches a line used to shrink as Windows' display scaling went up, so at
175% you had to put the crosshair right on the line. It is now the same at every scaling,
as on macOS. - The pencil and the marker show how thick their line will be. A dot the size of the
stroke follows the pointer, so you can judge the width before you draw. On macOS the dot
replaces the pointer; on Windows the crosshair stays and the dot is drawn under it.
Added
- Shapes have a handle in the middle of each side, as on macOS. Drag one to make a
rectangle, ellipse or other shape taller or wider without changing its other dimension.
Fixed
- The magnifier stays round when you resize it. Dragging one of its corners used to
stretch it into an oval, which stretched what it magnified too.
