web_fetch in DeepSeek Harness no longer fails with multiple usable web providers are registered (deepseek-fetch-api, http); configure one explicitly (#43). To send web_search to modsearch, the plugin rewrites dsh's web settings, and that rewrite replaces the whole block, so it also dropped dsh's own fetchProvider: http. That was harmless while http was the only page fetcher. Newer dsh builds, the desktop app 44.7.0 among them, add a second one, deepseek-fetch-api, so dsh could no longer choose. The plugin now keeps fetchProvider: http. If you added a - id: web override to your profile patch as a workaround, you can delete it now, or leave it in place. Either way works. The dsh guide's example for switching search back now keeps that line too.
