🩹 Fixes

  • core, react, angular: add explicit structuredHistory: 'preserve-diagnostics' restoration and immutable recovery.diagnostics for cold structured/UI history. Canonical assistant text remains intact for later model requests and is exposed as escaped plain-text diagnostics instead of typed/component output. Strict restoration remains the default; diagnostics establish no cancellation ownership or tool/resume authority (#751).
  • .NET recipes: add independently committed, bounded PostgreSQL cleanup and an optional hosted scheduler. Preserve EffectStarted and FailedAfterEffect metadata until explicit reconciliation while snapshots and audits expire independently. Add production guidance and browser coverage for cold recovery, explicit resume and malicious historical text (#751).

🧪 Experimental additions

  • core: add opt-in application-controlled Chrome toolPhase selection with immutable current-turn results, exactly-one selected tool-call validation, and direct schema finalization without tools. Requires schemaFinalization: 'after-tool-planning', a response schema and supported browser/model capabilities; existing model-led behavior remains the default (#749).

📖 Documentation and examples

  • Fix C#/XML syntax highlighting and document diagnostic recovery from SDK 0.8.2. Add bounded timeout evidence without changing assertions or retries; the historical recovery timeout did not reproduce (#751).
  • Complete parser/chatbot learning paths and recorded examples, add the canonical Angular/React docs workbench, fix announcement-margin clicks, and add the optional b4.run ATC backend with disconnect cancellation (#750, #762, #752, #731, #755).

Use matching core and framework SDK versions. The basic recovery methods remain available from 0.8.1; diagnostic recovery requires 0.8.2. Update copied .NET Integration helpers from the versioned recipe source to adopt the server maintenance changes.

Verification

  • Trusted npm publication succeeded for all ten SDKs at 0.8.2 with latest pointing at 0.8.2.

  • Independently downloaded all ten registry tarballs and verified SHA-512 integrity, release manifests, exact internal version pins, declarations, and supported imports. Public API type checks and runtime checks passed for strict defaults, immutable diagnostics, typed-projection exclusion, caller-mutation isolation, and inert restoration.

  • A fresh consumer from the immutable release tag, with workspace SDK sources and path aliases removed and build-cache restoration disabled, passed 172/172 .NET browser cases: 43 each for React/OpenAI, React/Azure, Angular/OpenAI, and Angular/Azure. All 12 diagnostic cases passed, with zero skips, failures, or retries. Both browser bundles resolve SDK modules from the installed registry packages, whose lockfile integrity matches the independently downloaded tarballs.

  • All eight memory/PostgreSQL, confirmation, and recovery C# recipe combinations compiled with zero warnings or errors. Provider responses in the deterministic browser suite use aimock; this run does not claim live cloud-model qualification.

  • Post-merge CI and production deployments passed. Both live .NET guides show the diagnostic SDK 0.8.2 requirement and recovery/maintenance recipes, with all C# and XML code blocks highlighted. Existing non-fatal lint, tooling-deprecation, API Extractor, and bundle-size warnings remain; no C# recipe warnings or errors.
