Features

  • Rebuilt the proxy in Go and updated the Docker image.
  • Added three modes:
    • github-releases generates a Helm index from GitHub release assets.
    • chart-releaser serves charts from a chart-releaser index.
    • local-only serves local chart packages without contacting GitHub.
  • Either GitHub mode can combine its charts with local packages in one Helm repository.
  • Keeps serving the last successful index when a refresh fails.
  • Chart download URLs now include a source prefix.
  • Added /status with source errors, chart counts, and cache timestamps.
  • Added /livez for liveness and /readyz for configuration readiness.
  • Added structured JSON logs for requests, upstream calls, and index refreshes, with correlation IDs.

Breaking changes

  • Renamed modes: releases-proxy → github-releases and chart-releaser-action-support → chart-releaser.
  • Replaced APP_PORT with PORT.
  • Replaced /health with /livez and /readyz.
  • Running from source now requires Go 1.22 instead of Python and Uvicorn.
