HyperLink for MetaModule 1.0.0

The first release of HyperLink for MetaModule: a VST3 plug-in that plays, edits and automates a 4ms MetaModule from your DAW over one USB cable.

Firmware

HyperLink needs the HyperLink firmware on the module: 4ms's MetaModule firmware 2.4.1 with a USB extension. Download it from hyperlink-firmware releases (v2.4.1-link22 or later). The first install goes through the SD card; chapter 3 of the manual takes you through it. Your patches, plugins and settings stay, and you can go back to 4ms's firmware at any time.

macOS is an untested beta

The macOS version is built and checked automatically, but nobody has tried it with a MetaModule yet. If you have a Mac, please open an issue and say how it works, with your macOS version and what the Device tab shows.

Known limits

• One HyperLink per Live set controls the module; others show which track has it.
• The plug-in is not signed with a paid certificate. Windows may warn about the download; on macOS, install.command lifts the block.
