BioModelling Pro 1.1.0
No WorldClim data travels with the program any more. Their terms of use do not allow it to be redistributed without prior permission, so js/example-rasters.js (3.7 MB) — the subset cropped to Mexico that the bundled example used — was removed.
Nothing of the analysis changed. What changed is where the layers come from:
- You download them once —
datos/LEE-ME.mdsays how, and 10 arc-minutes is enough to learn — and step 5 reads them from wherever you keep them with the folder picker or the file picker, both of which work from a double click. - The third button is now «Use the layers in
datos/»: it reads the program's own folder, which needs the local server, and when that folder has nothing it explains where to get the layers instead of failing. - Köppen-Geiger stays bundled, because CC BY 4.0 allows it, so that is one download less.
- The example records still travel with the program, so step 1 keeps working from a double click.
The code keeps a back door: anyone who wants the double-click example on their own machine can build their own js/example-rasters.js from the layers they downloaded, and the program will read it.
NOTICE.md, the README, the Spanish readme, datos/LEE-ME.md and the manual (sections I.5, 5.2, 9.2 and appendix F) say all of this; the screenshot of step 5 was taken again and the manual reprinted (92 pages).
