Important

On the new Server, archived Tasks are excluded from default lists, counts (including route groups), and filter-based bulk updates, including requests from older Clients. Existing v2 Clients and Workers remain compatible. Upgrade the Server to v2.8.0 before using archival, and use Client v2.8.0 with include_archived=True or CLI --include-archived to include archived Tasks. The Server migrates its database automatically; existing Tasks start unarchived. Direct Task-ID access and dependency success checks still include archived Tasks.

Changes

  • Change Task list, scalar/grouped count, and filter-based bulk update to exclude archived Tasks by default, with explicit inclusion across HTTP, Python, and CLI selectors.
  • Add reversible archival of succeeded, failed, and cancelled Tasks through ordinary Task updates and Boolean filters; accepted requeue restores default visibility.
