Jazz keeps control of the tools: Claude’s built-in tools stay off while Jazz routes every call through its normal executor, approvals, risk gates, and transcript flow. Refuseless Model Support

Jazz now speaks Refuseless, giving you a front door to abliterated and original-weight open models through an OpenAI-compatible API. Model discovery reads the live catalog—including context windows and reasoning support—so agent setup reflects what your key can actually use, while pricing stays honestly blank instead of pretending promotional rates are forever. (#936)

Compaction That Doesn’t Feel Like a Black Hole

/compact now shows a context meter draining while the summary runs, bottoms out at the amount of history that will actually remain, and keeps accepting messages through the composer queue. You can see the context being reclaimed instead of wondering whether Jazz wandered off for snacks. (#935)
