What's new

Window size is remembered — resize a document window and every window opened afterwards uses that size, including the first window of the next launch. Resizing updates the default for new windows only: existing windows keep their own size. When you close windows and an earlier one regains focus, its size becomes the new default.

Split pane width is remembered — the editor/preview divider position persists across document windows and relaunches, and is restored when switching back from editor-only view.

• View mode (editor only, preview only, split) reliably persists across windows and launches.
• New document windows now cascade instead of stacking exactly on top of the previous window.

What's new

Automatic theme switching — the preview and editor now follow your system appearance automatically. Choose a light theme and a dark theme in Preferences › Appearance; the active one switches in real time when macOS changes modes (including scheduled auto-switch at sunrise/sunset).

• Preferences now shows separate "Light Theme" and "Dark Theme" pickers instead of a single combined picker.
• Existing theme selection is migrated automatically on first launch.
