Release Notes - BareMac v0.3
🚀 What's New
Core Stability
- Fixed System Tweak Engine: Migrated
TweakRunnerfromNSUserDefaultstoCFPreferences. This resolves a critical issue where usingNSGlobalDomaincaused runtime crashes and warnings. The engine now uses the robust CoreFoundation C-API for system-level preference management.
UI & UX Improvements
- New Footer: Added an "About" section to the bottom of the sidebar, displaying the current version and copyright information.
- State Management: completely refactored
AppViewModelto eliminate SwiftUI "Publishing changes from within view updates" runtime warnings. Data loading and state updates are now properly deferred using Swift Concurrency (Taskand@MainActor), ensuring a stutter-free and crash-resistant UI.
Technical Details
- Architecture: Migration to MVVM. The codebase has been strictly aligned with the Model-View-ViewModel pattern. View logic has been completely decoupled from UI code, ensuring standard separation of concerns and testability.
- Refactoring: Moved initial data loading from
init()to.taskmodifiers to respect SwiftUI lifecycle. - Concurrency: Implemented safe handling of
@Publishedproperties to prevent main-thread blocking or race conditions during view updates.
