• because: reader reports on Criado Perez, Invisible Women for everscout tech-hiring (a second endnotes file showed in the outline as Chapter 13 after Endnotes; agents had to match chapter and number by hand to check a marker)
• files: scripts/rw.py (notes_part_title, chapter_key, cmd_note), SKILL.md (Distilling a book), ../../tests/test_rw.py, version in the five places AGENTS.md lists
• An EPUB file the toc skips, right after a Notes/Endnotes/References section and mostly numbered lines, is titled Endnotes: <its heading>. rw.py note FILE N --section S finds the chapter of section S and prints note N under that chapter's heading in the notes sections, or lists the chapter headings it saw.
