Pairwise 0.3.0
- Joining goes by the edge that moves: drag right to join with your window's right edge, drag left for its left edge. Overlapping windows are no longer proposed just because they overlap.
- An edge is proposed from close by until it has passed a quarter of the other window's width.
- The window you would join gets an amber outline.
- While joining, scroll or press Z to choose another window: the closest first, then all the others, also those behind others. Hold Control as well for the other choice of windows in the settings, such as only windows of the same app.
- The page moved to https://pairwise.m-domain.me/, and updates come from there too.
Pairwise 0.2.1
- No gap between two windows after dragging their seam, when a window such as Terminal rounds its width to whole characters.
Pairwise 0.2.0
- Pairwise needs only Accessibility now. While dragging you see an empty plane with each window's icon and title, and nothing is recorded.
- Still or live pictures while dragging, new settings that take Screen Recording. Live keeps video playing and the seam sharp, with macOS's purple recording icon.
- Settings comes to the front when you open it from the menu, also from another desktop.
- A page at https://mag243.github.io/pairwise/.
Pairwise 0.1.1
Nothing new to see: this release tries out updating from 0.1.0.
Pairwise 0.1.0
The first release.
- Join two windows of any app: drag one to the other and press Command, or click the open lock on the seam of two windows side by side.
- A pair moves together, shares its seam and comes to the front together.
- Part them with the closed lock, or by pressing Command while dragging one.
- Pairs last through a quit and a restart.
