Otium 0.1.2

  • A second way to share your internet: Mysterium. Next to Proxybase, you can also share through Mysterium's
network, which pays its MYST token on the Polygon network straight to your own address (automatically once 5 MYST
has built up, minus Mysterium's 20% fee). It carries traffic for Mysterium's business customers only, Otium takes no
fee from it and pays the one-time registration for you, and you can swap MYST for another coin on Relay. It has its
own switch, explanation and daily limit, and needs no administrator permission. On Windows, Windows Security may
flag Mysterium's node; Otium checks every download against Mysterium's published checksum and offers to allow it.
If a test version installed Mysterium's network service, Advanced settings can remove it: it isn't needed any more.
  • Share disk space through AIOZ. A third network, AIOZ, stores and delivers pieces of files for its customers
using some disk space (20 GB at most, your choice) and upload bandwidth. It turns on with the others in one click,
with no extra address: it pays its AIOZ token, which Otium sends to your payout wallet on the AIOZ network once 5
AIOZ has built up when that's an 0x address (or the one you gave Mysterium). Otherwise it waits on your computer
until you add one in Advanced settings, since no exchange service converts AIOZ on its own network yet. Otium takes
nothing, and it needs no administrator permission. AIOZ's network has many more computers than paying files right
now, so earnings may be small or nothing for a while. Windows and Linux only for now.
  • Graphics cards say why they wait. When there's no coin to mine, the card now says whether the coin prices are
unavailable for a while (Otium's price source is down) or no coin pays right now, and mentions electricity only if
    you pay for it.
  • Internet sharing in one place. The overview shows one "Internet connection" row with every network's pace and
earnings added up; open it to see each network on its own line. Advanced settings has one "Internet sharing" card
with a section per network, and turning sharing on, during setup or later, ticks every network at once (untick any
    you don't want).
