Otium 0.1.0-rc.2
Otium 0.1.0
The first public release. Otium mines with your idle processor and graphics card while you're away, set up and
switched for you. The pools pay you directly, in the coin you choose, at your own wallet;
Otium never holds your money.
- Four short screens. See what this computer could earn, choose where to be paid (USDT on TRON by default, or BTC,
LTC, BNB, SOL, TRX, ETH or Monero), then Otium runs in the background, only while you're away, and pauses the moment
you're back. - Measures your own PC. Right after you start, a two-minute test runs the miners while you watch and shows what
this computer really earns a month, after the fee and electricity. - Shows what your time away was worth. "While you were away: $0.84" when you come back, and a summary of last
month in the first days of a new one, each ready to copy with your invite code or save as a picture. - Earns through the night. While it's earning it keeps the computer awake (the screen still turns off), so it
doesn't stop when Windows would normally put the PC to sleep. Laptops on battery are left alone. - Faster processor mining, optionally: one Windows permission lets the miner use large memory pages, which makes
it noticeably faster on most processors. - Never at a loss. It pauses when electricity would cost more than it earns. In Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland
it follows live hourly electricity prices. - Paid straight to your wallet. unMineable pays your address daily once you reach its minimum (1.5 USDT for USDT
on TRON), Monero included (US users' Monero is paid by MoneroOcean). The overview shows how close you are to the next payout and warns you if
the pool won't pay by itself, for example when its "Auto pay" switch is off for your address. - One wallet for everything. Processor, graphics card and internet sharing all pay the single address you give,
in the coin you chose. - Graphics cards mine the best-paying coin, tested on your card first, AMD cards included. If a coin changes its rules so that your card's work stops counting (as Pearl's planned fork will for most
cards), Otium moves the card to the next best coin by itself. - Fair, visible fee. Otium's fee is 2% of mining time, mined to Otium in one short slice a day. Through Otium's
referral code you pay unMineable 0.75% instead of its usual 1%. - Two ways to start. Quick start turns everything on (processor, graphics card, internet sharing, keeping the
miner ready, real-earnings figures) and only asks where to pay you; Customize lets you choose each part. - Earn from your internet too, if you choose: Proxybase's client shares internet you aren't using, and the
earnings are converted and paid to your own address in the coin you chose, like mining. - Invite friends. Ready-made messages for WhatsApp, Discord and email. Friends mine fee-free for 30 days, and part
of Otium's fee is mined for you. A monthly leaderboard shows the top inviters.
