GEODE v1.0.32
1.0.31 was stamped but never published: its release run stopped in
validation because release.yml did not install the ffprobe that the site
build needs. 1.0.32 is the first published package that carries 1.0.31's
changes, so upgrading from 1.0.30 also brings the folder trust gate described
under 1.0.31. This release itself escapes caller-supplied and stored text in
runtime prompt sections, so a session directive, stored memory or tool error
can no longer close its section or open a new one, and gives provider-reported
cost a single validation rule.
Changed
- One provider-reported cost rule.
validate_reported_cost_usdbeside
UsageSummaryincore/llm/adapters/base.pynow owns the reported-cost check for
UsageSummary,TokenTracker.recordand the TypeSafe adapter, replacing
three copies.TokenTracker.recordnow raisesTypeErrorfor a non-numeric
cost, matchingUsageSummary.
Fixed
- Escaped runtime prompt sections. A shared
render_prompt_sectionhelper
now frames caller-supplied session directives, memory-recall, tool-hint and
rubric-warning blocks, platform hints and model guidance, so stored text or a
tool error can no longer close its envelope or open a sibling section. Memory
layers and verification continuations use the same helper; authored model
card and identity text stay verbatim. - Eval run specs reject directory artifact references.
validate_run_spec
now fails when an artifact path (or a symlink) resolves to a directory;
directory evidence goes through a manifest file.
Infrastructure
- Release validation installs ffprobe. The release docs gate runs the full
site build, whose terminal-replay check needsffprobe;release.ymlnow
installs it likepages.yml. The v1.0.31 release run failed at this step and
published nothing. A workflow contract test pins the order for every job that
builds the site. - Package boundary rejects
.agents/.check_package_artifacts.pynow
bans the development scaffold directory from both wheel and sdist, matching
.claude/.
