CrossNext v1.1.2 — PET reading projects and faster navigation · Xteink X4 Pro

• Clear reading goals for home objects. A newly selected unowned object starts at 0 minutes. Requirements are 10, 15, 20, 30 and 45 minutes for the first five objects, then 60 minutes maximum per object. Previous reading totals never turn a new goal into a demand for hundreds or thousands of minutes.
• Reopening the same project keeps its progress. Confirming a different unowned object starts that new goal from zero. Previously unlocked objects, reading statistics and supplies are preserved; an active project can continue into the next generation.
• Quicker PET sections and home selection. Repeated illustrations and catalogue thumbnails can be reused from PSRAM, monochrome artwork draws in ink runs, and redundant section/animation repaints are avoided. Actual timing still depends on the display and microSD.
• Existing saves are supported. Older project counters are brought within the current per-object requirement, while owned objects remain available.

Install or update

For Xteink X4 Pro only. Use the online updater from a compatible CrossNext installation, or the application image for a compatible microSD update. Follow the installation guide.

PET, Reading Quest and The Intercept need their microSD contents. Extract CrossNext-Resources.zip to the card root so /apps/pet/, /apps/reading-adventure/ and /apps/intercept/ are directly on the card. The resources are unchanged from v1.1.0; an already installed complete pack can stay. Firmware updates do not install these contents. Preserve your books and saved data under /.crosspoint/.
