Terminay v6.2.0 moves Home into the workspace switcher, docks Pixel in the phone header, and gives Pixel and Home agents broader control over the app through MCP.

Compact Header and Pixel

Compact Header

  • Moved Home into the project switcher, freeing the compact row's trailing slot for Pixel.
  • Docked Pixel in the phone header, where it sits alongside the workspace controls.
  • Resolved Tab Theme Hue before using it as the panel surface colour, so panels match the chosen tab hue.
  • Made the Board column header opaque under a Tab Theme Hue background.

Pixel

  • Showed a ghost of Pixel in the dock while Pixel is out.
  • Opened the chat balloon immediately, with Pixel flying in to it.

MCP App Control

Reach and Permissions

  • Made reach decide app-level authority, so workspace reach now controls what an agent can change across the app.
  • Let Pixel and Home agents drive the whole app while project agents stay inside their own project.
  • Split permissions into Projects & Windows, Read Settings, and Change Settings groups.

Tool Coverage

  • Expanded the MCP surface to cover settings, shell profiles, macros, and the remaining gap-fill tools.
  • Explained in the tool responses why cancel_macro and delete_folder refuse certain requests.
  • Kept a moved terminal's MCP capability, scoped to the project it moved into and never wider.

Folders, Launchers, and Project Start

Folders

  • Replaced the worktree delete flow with a single dialog that asks one question.
  • Styled the delete dialog's choices as rows, with Delete shown in red.
  • Grouped folders in the pane strip and removed the tree's top padding so the first folder meets the sidebar tabs.
  • Made New terminal start the agents installed on the server.

Terminal Launchers

  • Shipped Claude Code and Codex terminal launchers through the built-in agents extension.
  • Added a terminal launcher contribution point to the extension platform, backed by a server registry that launches on create.
  • Let a launched terminal's name yield to the program's title once the program sets one.

Project Start

  • Turned Open a folder into one path field that completes like a shell.

Integrations and Settings

Gitea

  • Showed merged pull requests as merged, with a purple badge.

Activity and Settings

  • Kept each client's activity projection in step with a terminal after it moves.
  • Turned the active-tab indicator on by default.
