Terminay v6.3.0 consolidates management into a single Settings window, moves Recordings into Home, and fixes several desktop, terminal, and forge issues.

Settings and Home

Settings window

  • Consolidated Remote Access, Macros, and Extensions into one three-column Settings surface, replacing the separate Remote Access and Macros windows.
  • Settings now collapses to a narrow layout, and choosing a macro in a narrow Settings opens its detail view.
  • Settings-only routes, commands, and a leave guard prevent losing unsaved edits when navigating away.
  • Settings fits small displays and closes with ⌘W.
  • Settings no longer leaves a traffic-light gap above it in macOS full screen.

Home and Recordings

  • Recordings moved into Home as a section, and each replay opens as a Home tab.
  • The open-recordings command now selects Home and brings Recordings to the front.
  • The Recordings tab fills the page like the Tabs and Automations tabs.
  • Recording rows are aligned, with readable dates and state pills.

Desktop and Terminal Behavior

Desktop app

  • The application menu now leads with a Terminay menu, and the File menu is removed on desktop.
  • A key bound to a Settings command opens Settings from inside a project.
  • Auxiliary windows return with their terminal after an app restart.

Terminal and workspace

  • Every running terminal now has a panel, so no session runs unseen.
  • A closed held terminal stays closed.
  • The last terminal row stays clear of the status bar.
  • Breadcrumb and branch-chip spacing in the status bar is evened out.

Extensions and Developer Workflow

Forge extensions

  • Merged pull requests now display as merged on both GitHub and Gitea.

Testing and specs

  • End-to-end tests cover Settings columns, narrow mode, search, Remote Access, macros, and the Recordings and Home layout.
  • Unit tests cover the Terminay menu, auxiliary window placement, live terminal panels, and app-window persistence.
  • OpenSpec records the unified Settings and related changes, with ADRs 0075 and 0076 covering the single Settings surface and persistent app-window records.
