Install
Windows
Needs WebView2 (already on most Windows 10/11 PCs).
- Portable — download
paperweight.exeand double-click to run. Can't register as the default app. - Installer — download
Paperweight_0.1.3_x64-setup.exe. After installing, set Paperweight as default from Settings → Apps → Default apps → Paperweight, or right-click a file → Open with.
macOS
There's no signed macOS download in this release — the app isn't code-signed or notarized, so a downloaded .dmg/.app gets Gatekeeper-quarantined and macOS refuses to open it. Build it yourself instead:
git clone https://github.com/markyip/Paperweight.git
cd Paperweight/tauri
npm install
npm run tauri buildNeeds Node.js, Rust, and Xcode command-line tools (xcode-select --install). The app lands at tauri/src-tauri/target/release/bundle/macos/Paperweight.app — drag it to /Applications.
