Sukrara 0.11.52

Follow-up to v0.11.51. It's an alpha / throwaway, and not a medical device.

Lock screen and insulin pens. Every behaviour: docs/FEATURES.md.

Sukrara-0.11.52.apk (Android 16+, arm64)

• The treatment dialog on the lock screen closes by itself and saves nothing if you leave it: a ring on Cancel counts down (20 s by default; Settings → Lock screen → Time to save, 10–120 s; longer with TalkBack). Touches in your pocket don't keep it open. Need more time, for a note say? Unlock opens it unlocked with everything you typed.
• Reading an insulin pen no longer posts a notification unless you turn on Settings → Insulin pens → Notification after each read. When it's on, it gets its own group, so it no longer bundles with the glucose notification or with a glucose alert.
• The pen icon in the treatment dialog's title is gone. Holding a pen to the phone while the dialog is open still fills it in.

• Settings → Insulin pens says which pens work in its footer, the way Android's own Settings does: NovoPen Echo Plus, and NovoPen 6 (untested). The Supported pens group of rows that looked tappable is gone. Searching settings for a pen model still finds Insulin pens.

• Supported pens are listed in Settings → Insulin pens, also before you add one: NovoPen Echo Plus, and NovoPen 6 (untested). Other NFC pens and Bluetooth pens or caps aren't supported. Settings search finds them.
• Automatic detection (Settings → Insulin pens): the priming size, how close doses must be to count as one injection, how long before an injection priming counts, how long Sukrara waits before asking about small doses, when a hand-typed dose is the same injection (time and amount), and the newest-injection offer on a new pen. Each row says the rule with its value; Reset to defaults. Changes apply to doses read from then on.
• When the pen's injection matches one you typed, the button says Replace your entry instead of Log it.

• Pen taps work from any app. In 0.11.45 a tap did nothing: Android's own tag check times out on the pen, and Android 17 only hands NFC taps to protected screens. Sukrara now accepts the pen as Android reports it and stays silent for bank cards, transit cards and passports.
• The Libre sensor tap (Open Sukrara when you scan a sensor) had the same Android 17 problem and works again.
• Blocked taps are obvious. If Android doesn't let Sukrara open on a tap, the home screen, the Insulin pens page and the sensor page say so, with Allow and a way to turn the feature off.
• Cards that ask for a decision (new pen, a question, a merge with Undo) stay until you act; a touch while one closes keeps it open.
• One page per pen: tap the pen in Settings → Insulin pens to see and change its name and insulin, the newest injection and the doses read. The separate setup screen is gone.
• Settings rows on the pen pages use the same group cards as the rest of Settings.

Sukrara 0.11.45

Sukrara-0.11.45.apk (Android 16+, arm64)

• NovoPen Echo Plus over NFC. Unlock the phone and hold the pen to it, from any app: the doses are logged without opening Sukrara. A card shows the result with Add treatment and Undo; the vibration confirms it.
• Priming is kept apart. Small doses before an injection (under 2 u, adjustable) count as priming, not insulin: 1, 0.5, 8, 0.5 logs 8.5 u injected and 1.5 u primed. Doses the rules can't tell apart are asked about, with a one-tap suggestion. Any dose can be switched between priming and injected afterwards.
• No duplicates, no old history. The first tap asks Log this pen in Sukrara?; nothing the pen stored before that is logged (one recent injection can be logged on request, older ones from Doses read). An injection you typed by hand is replaced by the pen's, with its exact time (Same injection? asks when it's not clear). Re-reading the pen never logs a dose twice, deleted entries stay deleted, your corrections are never undone, and a pen clock change holds the new doses for you to check.
• The treatment dialog reads the pen too: tap it while the dialog is open and Save logs it.
• Settings → Insulin pens: your pens, their insulin, Doses read (every dose and what it became, last 30 days' totals), the priming size. Other NovoPen models that speak the same protocol (NovoPen 6) work but are untested: they need a one-time check against the pen's display.
• LibreView, Nightscout, Tidepool, the graph and alert mutes use the injected units only; the CSV export has a new Primed Insulin (units) column.
• The delete dialog no longer says LibreView keeps deleted entries: deletes do reach it.

• Pen entries in the Treatments window: the total, From the pen · 1.5u primed, and the doses with their times; a warning when you type a dose the pen already logged.

Sukrara-0.11.44.apk (Android 16+, arm64)

• New placement Before the mobile signal, now the default: the value sits after icons that come and go (vibrate, VPN, hotspot…) and before the signal, Wi-Fi and battery, also when the signal icon is hidden.
• With root but without the LSPosed module, the system-icon placements still show the value (first among the system icons), and Settings says so.
• The space saved by the closer number and arrow now goes to other icons, so one more can fit.

Sukrara 0.11.43

Sukrara-0.11.43.apk (Android 16+, arm64)

• Value in the status bar with the system icons (root + LSPosed module): when the icons don't all fit, other icons fold into Android's overflow dot first. The number and arrow show together or not at all; you never see only the arrow.
• The number and arrow sit closer together, at the same spacing as the glucose card.
• After System UI restarts, the number is already before the arrow; no jump a few seconds later.
• "After the Wi-Fi icon" (and the other "after" placements) keeps its spot when that icon is hidden instead of jumping to the far left.

• Closing a tip shows Tip closed · Undo; Settings → Show closed tips brings every closed tip back.
• Nearby devices: tap a device to see it and Forget it (with a confirmation). Pair it again any time with Pair nearby.
• Tapping Eat carbs opens Add treatment with Carbs focused; Take insulin focuses Rapid; a mute pill opens its mute options.

• Clicking the Eat carbs / Take insulin pill in the dropdown opens Add Treatment with that field focused; VoiceOver reads the pill as a button.

• Trackpad pinch in the dropdown really zooms the chart now: opening the dropdown brings Sukrara to the front (macOS only sends pinches to the front app), and closing it gives the front back to the app you were in.

• Every mute counts down: the muted notification shows the time left, and the home pill, sheet and Active now tick every minute.
• New wording: Remind less / Remind as usual, Unmute / Change time, and Mute alerts For 30 min … For 8 h or Until you turn it off.
• The sensor time left no longer pushes treatment labels onto a second line while you scroll: labels slide under it.

• The same countdowns (notifications say "Until 10:42") and wording.
• Trackpad pinch in the dropdown now reaches the chart; a two-finger double tap toggles 3 h.
