Improved

  • Triage processes issue batches with configurable workflows.triage.max_parallel (default five). Batches remain serialized, and recovery splits large selections to fit GitHub limits. Manual dispatch now accepts issues, a JSON array, in place of issue and title. (#1603)
  • Daily and weekly maintenance delegate independent repairs through issues and investigate work with subagents. Codex sessions can exceed the default four-agent limit. (#1609)
  • Action callers: Run setup-runtime at the same release ref before claude, codex, land, or codex/refresh. The harness bot_name input and Codex's unused allowed_bots and allowed_non_write_users inputs are removed; config bot_name remains supported. Generated workflows include these changes. (#1608)
  • Config: TOML configurations and sandbox_env, sandbox_path, and sandbox_setup are rejected with migration guidance. Convert to YAML and use setup: steps with $GITHUB_ENV and $GITHUB_PATH. (#1610)

Fixed

  • Startup configuration restoration handles wildcard, newline, and non-UTF-8 filenames literally while preserving trusted-base instruction pinning. (#1610)

Internal

  • Release artifact validation checks only built distributions, excluding build-directory metadata. (#1614)

  • Workflow operations and CI helpers run through the installed, isolated tend runtime CLI. Runner setup has one owner, and instruction restoration uses the packaged Python runtime instead of staged shell assets. (#1607, #1608, #1610)
