Highlights
Spry 8.6.0 adds local MCP project inspection and Agent Skills, repairs Node.js
static-file serving and circular OpenAPI scanning, and strengthens docs and
Windows runtime validation.
Breaking Changes
- None.
What's New
- AI integration:
spry mcpover stdio and opt-inspry serveloopback HTTP
inspection throughMcpConfig, using stateless MCP 2025-06-18 Streamable
HTTP. Added documentation/debugging Agent Skills and aligned scanned route
explanations with runtime routing, filesystem middleware and error handlers,
and supported public assets by @medz in #198. - Runtime fixes: Node static GET now uses
node:fsforopenAsBlob, retains
fs.promisesmetadata reads, and parses MIME extensions with POSIX paths.
Added actual VM/Node GET/HEAD regressions and focused Windows validation on
Dart 3.10.0 and Node.js 24 by @medz in #202. - OpenAPI: circular top-level object and scalar references now fail promptly
instead of hanging during asynchronous scanning by @medz in #203. - Dependency compatibility:
oxymoves from^0.2.1to^0.2.2while
preserving the current HTTP graph by @medz in cfc640c. - Docs: refreshed vulnerable transitive npm dependencies and added install,
audit, and VitePress build CI in #199. These private docs dependencies do not
enter the published Dart package graph.
Migration Guide
No migration is required for valid existing applications. Minimum Dart remains
3.10.0. MCP inspection is opt-in for trusted local development; OpenAPI/client
status tools report configured output locations. Circular OpenAPI metadata is
rejected promptly.
