The iPhone companion requires a paired Mac and is distributed through TestFlight. This release does not deploy hosted services.

Calls require a compatible backend and call worker. Video rendering can take several minutes to start from idle. This beta does not guarantee cold-start latency or seamless network switching. The iPhone companion is distributed separately through TestFlight; this release does not deploy hosted services.

• Add paired-Mac support for native iPhone voice and video calls, including protected video admission and the agent’s configured portrait.
• Allow cold video-renderer preparation to finish without applying the shorter missing-worker recovery deadline.
• Improve portrait delivery through the relay. The iPhone companion caches bounded portrait thumbnails locally while video rendering uses the original image.
• Refine the iPhone call interface with separate voice/video buttons, consistent controls, and camera-off preview behavior. Startup failures identify the failing connection stage.

Physical iPhone testing confirmed visible agent video and spoken replies through the paired Mac. One cold renderer startup took about 3 minutes 40 seconds; a subsequent warm admission took about 6 seconds. These observations are not a latency guarantee or qualification of every model/provider.

Calls require a compatible backend, call worker, and configured video-rendering service. This Mac update does not deploy those services. The iPhone companion is distributed separately through TestFlight. Calls remain foreground-only; camera transport does not automatically provide model visual context.

• Use an agent’s portrait in local-agent video calls while your Mac keeps ownership of the conversation, model, tools and speech. Voice-only calls do not request a video renderer.
• Preserve original portrait images and custom portraits when changing themes, and keep Settings readable in the selected appearance.
• Open the selected conversation when clicking an agent card, dismissing Settings so the chat is immediately visible.
• Improve call startup, cancellation and cleanup. Retry eligible timed-out call requests with the same conversation item, and retire an unreachable worker when bounded recovery fails.

Local-agent video was checked in the app with an audible answer, a follow-up calculation, visible lip sync and a spoken Stop interruption. Cold startup and a warm restart were observed separately; transport reconnect was not measured. These checks do not establish support for every model, voice provider or deployment.

Animated local-agent video requires a compatible CAST deployment, call worker and configured portrait-rendering facility. Installing this desktop update does not deploy those services. The iOS companion limitations described in beta.10 remain unchanged.

• Bring workspace agents, tools, publishing, and Mac hosting into a consistent Mellow interface, with Settings in a centered dialog over your conversation.
• Open a conversation directly from an agent card, and preserve the existing workspace connection when signing in again.
• Improve local task continuity so follow-up requests use the latest conversation context, including after reconnecting or reopening Mellow.
• Improve local-agent voice calls and cloud-avatar call handling, including pending starts, call controls, and ending a session. Prevent separate CAST deployments that share a media service from removing each other's call rooms.
• Fix browser edits disappearing from React-controlled input and text fields after the page updates.
• Fix file-history persistence and improve translations across the workspace interface.

Local-agent voice was checked with an audible answer and a follow-up calculation; cloud-avatar video and an audible reply were checked separately. These checks do not establish support for every model, voice provider, or deployment. Local models can still add unsolicited text to otherwise correct answers.

Workspace publishing and call improvements require a compatible CAST deployment and call worker. This beta does not add local-agent animated portrait video or change the iOS companion limitations described in beta.10.

• Add Mac support for the native Mellow iPhone and iPad companion, with encrypted connections and QR-first pairing.
• Let paired owners manage supported agent and project configuration, Conversation preferences, and engine settings through reviewed changes on the Mac.
• Add protected chat editing, regeneration, exchange removal, retained-task replies, and response-inspection endpoints for compatible mobile clients.
• Improve retained conversation continuity, project context, model options and favourites, and authenticated agent portraits.
• Show captured sampling overrides accurately in Insights instead of reporting an output limit that was not requested.

This is an incremental beta and an iOS companion support preview, not complete desktop parity. Some desktop settings, project file and knowledge-content management, and voice/call features remain unavailable on iOS. Complete paired-device, lifecycle, media, accessibility, and iPad validation is still in progress. An intermittent rapid Inspector-dismissal/navigation issue remains under investigation. The iOS app is distributed separately; updating the Mac does not install it.

Existing pairing and owner-approval requirements remain in force. Update the Mac before using mobile features that require these new endpoints.

• Keep the agent’s configured voice, model, tools, and conversation history during avatar calls.
• Improve call recovery after network interruptions and avoid reusing retired call workers.
• Prepare microphone and camera permissions before joining, and cancel pending call setup cleanly.
• Correct Teams chat stream handling and add privacy-safe diagnostics for calls that end unexpectedly.

Avatar calls require a separately configured compatible service. Teams avatar attendance remains experimental; a complete Teams validation for every agent is not included in this beta. Ordinary typed chat remains text-only.
