PolyBake is a powerful Blender addon that simplifies the process of baking high-poly mesh details onto a low-poly mesh. - Download the latest release from the Releases page.
- Open Blender.
- Go to
Edit
>Preferences
. - Click on the
Add-ons
tab. - Click
Install...
and select the downloaded addon ZIP file. - Enable the "PolyBake" addon by checking the checkbox next to it.
- Open the 3D Viewport in Blender.
- In the Sidebar, go to the "Bake" section.
- Select your high-poly mesh as the source and your low-poly mesh as the target.
- Choose the baking options you want to use (tangent normals, object normals, color, roughness, occlusion, and/or UV wireframe).
- Click the "Bake" button to generate the texture maps.
- Find the baked texture maps in the UV/Image Editor.
