Upstream gives each role one of two defaults at 99743e9: claude-opus-5-5-xhigh for judgment and synthesis, and the fast grok-4.7-xhigh-fast for code delegates, explorers, investigators, the reflect tooling reviewer, and swarm workers. plugins/pstack/models.json gains a worker tier, sonnet, for the routine code roles, and feature, refactoring moves to it from opus. bug-fix, perf-issue, and hillclimb move from fable to opus, reversing the 0.9.15 choice, since upstream runs them on its worker model rather than its strongest. how explorer, why investigators, reflect tooling, and swarm workers stay on opus, where upstream runs them on its worker model. poteto-mode still sends the hardest changes to the strongest judgment role, which stays on fable where upstream names Opus. The four-model panel stays: upstream's two-model panel crosses vendors, and a Claude-only panel gets its diversity from more Claude models. A pstack-models.md line still overrides any role.

The Codex block gains a worker example, gpt-6-sol, the model the Pi table already maps sonnet to, and the Codex mapping names the worker roles on their own line. The Copilot setup asks a worker-model question after the default model, and the Copilot mapping names the worker roles. poteto-mode sends trivial mechanical edits to the worker model.

principle-prove-it-works adds one check: before you report success, read the real state and the exit code, because truncated output and your own echo prove nothing. @fisherivco reported it from a reflect run (#276). The same issue's proposal to let the model start reflect on its own is not taken: upstream marks reflect as user-invoked only, and its step 5 files Backlog items to the tracker without waiting.
