What's new in v1.1.0

  • Insights: a new all-time analytics page backed by SQLite lifetime history (heatmap, peak hour, totals)
  • Settings: user-defined screenshot renaming prompt
  • Dashboard: redesigned FOLDERS block and a responsive layout for narrow/tiled windows
  • Batch: retry-all failures with a progress indicator, guarded against concurrent runs
  • Accessibility: VoiceOver labels, reduce-motion support, and live announcements
  • Appearance: Dark Mode support with a System / Light / Dark selector

Install

Download Chaos.dmg, open it, and drag Chaos into Applications. The app is ad-hoc signed (not notarized), so on first launch approve it once via System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.

Or via Homebrew:

brew tap michaelmjhhhh/chaos
brew install --cask chaos

feat(hosted): free-trial usage check + admin reset

Let users see how much of the hosted free trial they've used, and fix
the misleading hardcoded limit in the trial-over message.

- Proxy: GET /api/usage returns used/limit/remaining + global counters
(no increment). POST /api/usage resets a device's counter, gated by a
new ADMIN_TOKEN env (optional ?global=1 also clears the month budget).
- App: "Check free trial" button in Settings → Naming Service (hosted
provider only) shows "used X of Y free names — Z left", via a new
  VisionAPIClient.fetchUsage + AppState.fetchHostedUsage.
- App: the hosted 402 message no longer hardcodes "20" — it now reads
"You've used all your free names…", since the real limit is server-side.
- Docs: ADMIN_TOKEN in .env.example; usage/reset curl examples in README.

App builds, 57 tests pass; proxy typechecks.
