What's new in v2.8.6

  • Added mailbox ownership verification (Options -> General -> Mail verification): prove you control a mailbox by sending yourself a one-time code - reusing Mail XSS Tester's own Gmail address/app password and tunnel, no separate credentials to fill in - then typing that code back in. Once verified, that mailbox can be picked as Mail XSS Tester's "Send to" address; free-text entry there is gone, it's now a dropdown limited to mailboxes you've actually proven you own. A new status bar marker (@, next to the domain-verification one) shows the live status the same way domain verification's does.
  • Added a tunnel status marker to the status bar (🚇, right before the update-available icon): white when off, blinking amber while starting, green when running, red on error.
  • Moved all of Mail XSS Tester's tunnel setup - cloudflared install/download, Start/Stop, and live status - out of its own sidebar into a new Options -> Tunnel tab (Options menu, right after Port Presets), so it's one shared place instead of buried in one tool's panel. Mail XSS Tester's sidebar now just has a single "Start tunnel" button.
  • Fixed a real bug where Mail XSS Tester's Gmail address/app password fields silently reset to empty every time you switched to a different center tab and back.
  • Added a third scan mode, Memory (next to Range/CIDR in the IP Scanner sidebar): type or paste a hand-picked list of IP addresses and scan exactly that list instead of sweeping a range.
  • Added a "Copy to Memory" button to the IP Extractor, and the Extractor's input/list plus the Memory notepad's content now survive a reload and are included in saved session files.
  • CIDR mode: typing a bare address with no "/n" (e.g. "10.1.2.3") now scans just that one host instead of being rejected - treated the same as an explicit "/32".
  • Memory notepad's list can now also contain IPv6 addresses - bare, or with a Windows zone id like "fe80::1%9" for link-local addresses - freely mixed with IPv4 entries and CIDR blocks.
  • Added a confirm dialog (OK/Cancel) before starting any scan - Range, CIDR, or Memory - that covers more than 256 addresses.
