Added

  • Added Ed25519 certificate support to ccf::crypto::cert_der_to_pem() and cert_pem_to_der() (#8598).
  • Experimental support for exporting Raft trace events to a Fluentd collector, configured with observability.fluentd. The configuration and event format may change in future releases (#8386).

Fixed

  • Nodes becoming primary at the end of public recovery now always wait for their certificate to be recorded successfully before emitting ledger signatures, so that private recovery, joining nodes and later recoveries accept the ledger (#8597).
  • Nodes which join a recovered service from a snapshot taken before the recovery now stop tracking the previous service's nodes in consensus once the recovery transaction is committed, see Disaster Recovery (#8596).
