The terminal works on a phone. Open a shell in the phone app, or in a phone
browser through tailscale serve, and it takes the screen it is given and
keeps the keyboard up while you type (GDK-1987, GDK-1986). Under the pane
is a strip carrying the keys a phone keyboard does not have — Esc, Tab, Ctrl,
Alt and the arrows, with the same three states for a held modifier the phone
app already used — so a shell reached from a browser can be driven and not
only read (GDK-1995). In the phone app, Korean typed into the shell arrives
as words, and what is still being assembled shows above the keys (GDK-1988).

The phone's list is the desktop's list. Every built-in view reads in the
order it was written for — Handed off quietest first, Reopened by how often
work came back — and sections by what the view says to section by, a sprint the
way the desk does it (GDK-1992, GDK-1993). The header says where to tap: a
rule under the heading, one set of controls at its right end, and search back
among them in the slot manual refresh gave up — Sync now is in Settings
(GDK-1989, GDK-1990).

Those two controls open different things. The magnifier opens the palette, to
find one issue anywhere in the cache, where a row that leads somewhere now says
so (GDK-1949, GDK-1997); the view's name opens this list — the view it
belongs to, and under it the toggles that narrow what is on screen. That second
half is new. Narrowing a list had meant going back to the desktop and saving a
view there. The toggles are found in the list itself, one that would change
nothing is not offered, and nothing is saved: the narrowing goes when you pick
another view (GDK-1994).

Korean and Japanese read whole. Japanese search finds what is there. A
Japanese sentence has no spaces, and a term with nothing separating it had not
been indexed as a term at all — across the cache this release ships with,
Japanese lost 625 terms in 334 of 605 items while English lost none
(GDK-1978). The retro's Korean numbers stop counting 나머지 as a merge
(GDK-1946), a Japanese sprint goal gets the second line its 34 full-width
characters need (GDK-1977), and the Korean and Japanese demo data translates
its labels like everything else on that screen (GDK-1976).
