Code Flow 0.1.0-preview.2

Run your installed coding agents in one local workspace. This is an early preview.

What changed

  • Native Electron desktop window on macOS; closing or reloading the window keeps agents working.
  • One task per sidebar entry, provider forks as tabs, and attached side conversations.
  • Turn Team on or off in the same task; choose a lead model and configure templates/providers in Advanced.
  • Reply directly to Team questions; the question and answer remain in the main conversation.
  • Shared interactive browser with human takeover, uploads, folder uploads and downloads.
  • Selective steering, provider recovery, preserved conflicts and fresh review of combined changes.

Try the exact release

With Node.js 22.13+ and Git 2.38+ installed:

npx --yes --package=https://github.com/midhunxavier/code-flow/releases/download/v0.1.0-preview.2/midhunxavier-code-flow-0.1.0-preview.2.tgz codeflow

The app opens in your browser. Keep the terminal open and press Ctrl+C to stop. Install and sign in to at least one supported agent CLI before starting a run.

Installation channels

  • npm: after registry publication, use npx @midhunxavier/code-flow@preview or npm install -g @midhunxavier/code-flow@preview.
  • macOS: choose the arm64 DMG for Apple Silicon or x64 for Intel. Drag Code Flow to Applications. Node is bundled; the app opens its own Electron window. Closing the window keeps agents working; use Code Flow → Quit to stop. Chrome or Edge is required for the shared browser. Files marked unnotarized are developer builds and macOS may block them.
  • Linux: use the npm launcher.
  • Windows: use WSL2; native Windows execution is not supported in this preview.
  • Homebrew: the attached code-flow.rb is generated from the tarball checksum. Copy it to Formula/code-flow.rb in the maintainer's Homebrew tap before advertising brew install midhunxavier/code-flow/code-flow.

Settings and history live in ~/.codeflow and survive reinstalling. Read the installation guide.
