0.12.4's content, now with its packaged app.

No code or behavior changes: 0.12.5 re-releases 0.12.4 so the release carries the macOS app. The CLI, daemon, MCP servers, and recorded data are byte-for-byte the same behavior.

macOS app (no Python, pipx, or terminal needed): agentacct-0.12.5.dmg — signed with a Developer ID, notarized, and stapled, so it opens with a normal double-click. The app embeds the frozen agentacct CLI, which it installs and keeps in sync on first setup.

CLI: pipx install agentacct==0.12.5 (or uv tool install agentacct==0.12.5).

What 0.12.4 shipped, unchanged:

  • Kimi Code desktop sessions can bind their work to the session. The hook context is chosen by a working-directory digest — a truncated SHA-256, never the raw path — and the hook reads the session's real project directory from Kimi Code's own session_index.jsonl, so five concurrent desktop sessions no longer refuse id inheritance.
  • Don't-guess rules hold: the digest decides only when every fresh candidate carries one and exactly one matches; a digest-less candidate turns the rule off, and two sessions in the same directory refuse inheritance outright.
  • Claude Code and Codex hook contexts carry the digest too.

mechanical_capture for Kimi Code stays experimental until a live MCP report inherits a session id from the running server.
