OpenMausBot 0.1.129
What's new in 0.1.129
Updates install themselves
- A downloaded update installs by itself at a quiet moment: when nothing is running and you're away (screen locked, or the computer untouched for 10 minutes). The app comes back where it was and tells you once it updated. Mac and Windows; Linux still asks for your password.
- Open at login, from the app menu and Settings.
- About shows this app's own version, and names the server when the window shows another one. The update line says which server it's about.
My Cloud
- My Chrome on My Cloud: bots on My Cloud can use your real Chrome on a Mac or PC you lend, with your own sign-ins.
- Lend the terminal from the menu-bar icon, and it stays lent through the default lend.
- If a computer's move to My Cloud gets stuck, we can now see where and why, so we can help.
Chat and teams
- @devs: type @devs in any chat with a few words about what went wrong. Your bot writes a summary, and the MausBot team gets it by email with the technical details. Passwords and keys are removed, and your chat itself isn't sent.
- Work handed into a room goes straight to a bot that isn't in it, and the chat says so.
- A hand-off turns red when the teammate's work failed.
- Change a bot's approval level while it works: the new level applies to what it does next.
- Simple mode: a calmer room header and a Room panel.
- Type refresh, and the message box is one line again.
- The daily brief can bring ideas from a nightly dream.
Models and engines
- OpenAI-compatible endpoints: the context window is read from the server, with no setting.
- Gemini tool calls work through OpenAI-compatible endpoints.
- Choose the model of each backup, not only its engine.
- Pi waits for a slow session reply instead of starting over.
- Windows: engines installed as .cmd wrappers start, and Cursor's agent is found through its PowerShell shim.
- HighLevel: refreshes keep their own sign-in, creates are never sent twice, and long lists page through.
- Switching servers works when a local environment is saved.
Languages
- Russian and Italian.
