• Long English UI text is auto-translated for Traditional Chinese too. Conversation streaming still skips characterData.

New official strings that are not in the curated dictionaries still fall back: Traditional uses simplified Chinese converted to traditional; other languages use English.

Fix: translation actually switches on Desktop 2.0.13 / Harness 0.1.5-rc.2

Root cause: the built-in locale service only accepts languages registered through addLanguage(). 0.2.6 only patched the settings dropdown snapshot, so picking Traditional Chinese / other locales did not stick in the catalog, and dictionary lookups used the wrong case (zh-HK vs zh-hk).

Changes

• Register all 20 locales via locale.addLanguage
• Case-insensitive dictionary lookups
• Host setLocale + localStorage preference persistence
• Log auto-translate failures instead of silent no-ops

How to use: Settings → General → Language → pick e.g. 繁體中文（香港）.

0.2.4–0.2.5 were committed on master but never tagged. This Latest release covers them.

zh-HK / zh-TW DOM conversion and auto-MT observers were walking characterData on document.body for every token. Inference stayed alive while glyphs did not paint.

• TreeWalker FILTER_REJECT so walks do not descend into those trees
