Microsoft AdventureWorks Database analysis using MS SQL Server and visualization of this analysis with PowerBi

This repo created to analyze AdventureWorks Database sales and to visualize the analysis.

DashBoard KPIs:

1. Total Sales Amount
2. Total Order Quantity
3. Average Money Spent on an Order
4. Total Sales in the Second Quarter of Each Year
5. Sales Performance by Year
6. Total Order Amount of Categories by Year
7. Total Sales for Each Product Category
8. Total Sales Amount of Sub-Categories of Bike Category (Best sales performance in categories)

Available Visuals in DashBoard:

• Card (KPIs: 1,2,3)
• Clustered Bar Chart (KPI: 4)
• Area Chart (KPI: 5)
• Clustered Column Chart (KPI: 6)
• Table Chart (KPI: 7)
• Donut Chart (KPI: 8)

Prerequirement

• AdventureWorks DB 2019.bak

Requirements

• Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
• Microsoft PowerBi

Installation

Clone the repo

$ git clone https://github.com/miraytopal/AdventureWorks-DB-SQL-Queries-and-PowerBi

• Download to AdventureWorks DB 2019.bak file

• Install AdventureWorks database on SQL Server

• Install SQL queries on SQL Server

• Run PowerBi file
